Show Business gets her act together

Show Business returned from a spell with a strong first-up Maiden victory over 1400m this afternoon at Caloundra.   

Patiently ridden by Michael Cahill, she began well & settled mid-field in a lovely spot over on the fence.   Coming to the 800m mark, she was starting to improve & traveled well  up behind the leaders.

Upon straightening, she looked as if she would need some luck to get off the fence & come around the leaders.  But a typical "cool" Cahill ride paid dividends when a a gap open up between the leading pair & when Michael gave her a dig at the 200m mark, she strode through & dashed away to win by a 2.75 lengths
